Welcome to Tennis Tournaments Leeds home of tennis tournaments in The North of England, running fun, friendly LTA approved tennis competitions. From beginner to county level, everyone is welcome. We have a very high return rate of players at our tournaments and we try to get to know all of them so that you are not just another player. We attract players from all over the country from London to Scotland.

We ran tournaments at 13 clubs last year with 41 events being held and 1600 players taking part. We are talking to new venues all the time to add to the geographic spread so check out the tournament schedule.

Our success rate for events going ahead is much higher than the national average as we work very hard to fill them rather than just siting back and waiting for them to fill. We also have WhatsApp groups to keep you up to date so if you want to be added then just get in touch.

We run LTA:

– Grade 4 & 5 rating and ranking events for men and women of open age (so that juniors can enter adult tournaments) as well as junior tournaments

– Grade 6 for ratings only, that will be played either as a match play or a tournament draw.
– Mini tennis tournaments

The format of a tournament will vary from event to event so check it out before you enter. We mainly have competitions which can be completed in a day or part of a day. We try to give an idea of timings but this can be difficult. We understand that you want to be playing and not waiting around so we try out best to minimise waiting time.

The most common format is a fast4 knockout main draw with a consolation draw. Each player will have a minimum of two games. If you are eliminated if possible additional games may be arranged if that’s what you would like and there is sufficient court time and a suitable opponent.

Junior and mini tournaments may be either knockout main draw with consolation draw or box leagues followed by a knockout section to the tournament.

To enter, all you need is an LTA rating and a British Tennis membership number. This can be found on the LTA Website. Click the tab in the top right hand corner to join as a member. This is free to juniors of a certain age and members of affiliated tennis clubs.

When you enter for a tournament your name will be shown as Entry Received. After the closing date we will then allocate places in the draw. The LTA insist that the highest rated players must be put in the draw first. We are allowed a limited number of wild cards for every tournament and these are normally allocated to home players first. If you are in any doubt just ask. When the draw has been made you will be contacted to tell you the estimated start time of your first match. Please arrive in plenty of time for this.

If you miss the deadline for entry to a tournament we can sometimes still get you in so just ask.
