It was a beautiful day for tennis with three events taking place and all with a full compass draw. It was really busy with the men’s event being a full 16 draw so at one stage we were using 9 courts.
The boys 12u grade 5 event was won by Joseph Cox who beat Miles Airey in the final.
In the women’s grade 4 event Nicole Gamma came through 4-1 4-0 against Gemma Burkinshaw in the final.
The men’s grade 4 event was the battle of the Harry’s with top seed Harry Cookson coming through 4-1 4-1 against Harry Ray both players having jad tight semi finals which went to final set tie breaks.
