Chapel Allerton Mens/Ladies 8 & under Grade 6 20/8/17

There was a full day of tournaments using Chapel Allerton’s indoor and outdoor courts and finishing under floodlights. What a great day.

It started with the under 8’s on Chapel Allerton’s excellent indoor courts with Steise beating Jack Wilson in a gripping under 8s final saving two match points to win 11-9 after both winning their groups.

In the women’s Laura Morris dominated the whole field to show she is a an all rounder in racketsports after her recent racketball exploits. She beat young Pryanka in the final for the loss of just 2 games.

In the Men’s A Final it was the battle of the Rawdon boys with William Newby beating Charlie Pollard 4-2 4-2 after earlier winning 4-1 4-0 against Bradley Keith and ending his dreams of a first title he had hoped for.

In the Men’s B Final Liam Hall triumphed against Phillip from Grimsby who had beaten two juniors to reach the final. Liam had to win two championship tiebreaks to make the final.
