Thanks to Chapel Allerton for stepping in again to help when David Lloyd were unable to offer courts because of the installation of new court lighting. It will be great news for future events at David Lloyd as the new light are very bright!!

There were two events on the day 8 and under mixed indoors and 14 and under boys outside. The 10 and under had to be postponed as it was very windy at the start time so we will try to reschedule.

It was a big turnout for the 8u with 15 entrants playing on three courts. There was some rally good tennis but above all it was good to see so many children and parents enjoying the occasion. The overall cahmpion was Maxim Sokol winning an entertaining and tight final with Sangamithra Kailasamoorthi 10-8 10-8

Thanks to the boys for playing in difficult conditions particularly at the start of the event. It was very windy but tennis is all about coping with all sorts of conditions. Well done.
